The Haywain

Welcome to The Haywain

Situated in Little Bromley, Essex, The Haywain is a Traditional 18th Century Village Inn.

Opened in December 2007 by Landlord and Landlady, Andy and Dawn Newton, The Haywain already has several awards including
'Tendring CAMRA Pub of the Year 2009' and 'Tendring CAMRA Pub of the Year 2010'.

Real Ale

The Haywain is a Freehouse and always has a good selection of Real Ales on tap, many of which are sourced locally from Essex and Suffolk.

Beamed throughout with 2 large open fires to add to the warm and friendly atmosphere in the colder months and a beer garden to relax in during the summer.

Our large menu of good 'Home Cooked' food caters for everyone and includes many Vegetarian dishes and a very popular Sunday Roast. Have a look at our 'Food' link to see a sample menu.

We have a separate Venue for functions, which can be hired out, a large car park, an outdoor heated area for smokers and we are also dog friendly!

GOOD BEER GUIDE 2010 & 2011

Out of approximately 55,000 pubs in Britain, only 4,500 are included in the Good Beer Guide. It speaks volumes for the quality of our beer that local CAMRA members have selected us for inclusion!
